Stevens will challenge Lebanon on the road at 6:00 PM on Saturday. Stevens have seen their point totals decreasing over the past three games, a vulnerability Lebanon are surely hoping to exploit.
After a string of five wins, Stevens's good fortune finally ran out last Friday. They took a hard 7-27 fall against Laconia. Stevens got a solid performance out of senior Baylor Rozzell, who picked up 73 yards on the ground and snatched 1 receiving TD; unfortunately, it just wasn't enough for the victory. In fact, with ten tackles Rozzell was a force on both sides of the ball.
Meanwhile, Lebanon put the finishing touches on their 3rd blowout victory of the season. They put a hurting on Epping/Newmarket to the tune of 55-0. Lebanon were expected to win, but the margin was definitely larger than the state rankings had forecast.
Lebanon's win lifted them to 3-4 while Stevens's loss dropped them down to 5-1. We'll see if Lebanon's success rolls on or if Stevens are able to steal their positive momentum.
