The Norris Titans came tearing into  Friday's  matchup with five straight wins  (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 18.6 points) and they left with even more momentum. They breezed by Blair at home  to the tune of  54-26. Given Norris' advantage  in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings  (they are ranked sixth, while Blair is ranked 59th), the result  wasn't entirely unexpected.
 Norris got their  win on the backs of several key players, but it was  Ella Johnson out in front who  scored ten points.  Nicole Keetle was another key contributor,  scoring 12 points.
 Blair's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was   Joslyn Policky, who  scored six points. Another player making a difference was  Addie Sullivan, who  scored six points.
 Norris pushed their record up to 6-1 with that  victory, which was their fifth straight  at home dating back to last season. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.2 points per game. As for Blair, their loss  ended a five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 5-2.
 Norris and Waverly will round out the year against one another at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday at. Blair will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bennington at 1:00  p.m.  on January 6, 2024.
