Upper Cape Cod RVT extended the longest winning streak in Mayflower - Small this week by beating South Shore Vo-Tech, 22-14. The victory was the fifth in a row for the Rams.
Nantucket was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fifth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Whalers triumphed over West Bridgewater 20-14.
Old Colony RVT's Jacob Pringle and Kevin Blaise have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Pringle has thrown for 628 yards this season, while Blaise, a 5-foot-10 receiver, has eight catches for 177 yards. Jonathan Dumont from Upper Cape Cod RVT leads the league in rushing with 529 yards.
A big matchup in Mayflower - Small this week will be when Nantucket takes on Mike Hernon's team. Bill Manchester's team is currently in third, while the Rams are in first.
The Whalers and the Wildcats played the most hotly contested game in the league this week, with the Whalers eventually emerging with a 20-14 victory.
