Iota has gone a perfect 10-0 against Northwest recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Bulldogs will face off against the Raiders at 4:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Iota has three straight wins, Northwest has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

While Iota's victory against Mamou wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Bulldogs narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Demons 7-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Bulldogs have posted against the Demons since March 26, 2019.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Northwest and Crowley, and Crowley kept the tradition alive. The Raiders came up short against the Gent on Tuesday, falling 9-2.

Northwest saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Batiste, who went 2-for-3 with one double and one RBI.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19. As for Iota, their win bumped their record up to 15-9.

Everything went Iota's way against Northwest when the teams last played back in March of 2024, as Iota made off with a 10-0 victory. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Bulldogs since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
