Dionne Sims Earns League's Top Spot
Starting off the list is King's Dionne Sims, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Sims' rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 106 rushing yards. He showed off some serious burst, turning on the afterburners on one carry for 67 yards.
King now has a winning record of 3-2. Sims and King will be playing at home against Summer Creek at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Blake Thomas' Big Game Can't Quite Lead Summer Creek over Atascocita
Summer Creek was sadly handed a loss on Friday, but Blake Thomas did his best to prevent it. Thomas was unstoppable, rushing for 112 yards and a touchdown, while also throwing for 250 yards and a touchdown.
If history really does repeat itself, Thomas might just drop another big game when he faces off against King on Saturday. Thomas rushed for 59 yards and a touchdown, and also threw for 115 yards and two touchdowns the last time he and the Panthers duked it out back in October of 2023.

Deion Deblanc Turns in Season-Best Effort
On Thursday, North Shore got the W thanks in part to Deion Deblanc playing the best football he has all season. Deblanc picked up 81 receiving yards and a touchdown, and also rushed for 69 yards and a touchdown. He was no stranger to the big play, turning on the jets for a run that went for 67 yards.
The victory for North Shore keeps them at an undefeated 5-0. Deblanc and North Shore will take on Goose Creek Memorial at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
