The Ryle Raiders waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They came out on top against Frederick Douglass by a score of 58-50. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Ryle also won the last time the pair played back in January of 2023.
Ryle's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Quinn Eubank led the charge by almost dropping a double-double on 17 points and nine rebounds. Eubank is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last four games she's played. Another player making a difference was Sarah Baker, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and 13 rebounds.
Ryle's win bumped their record up to 13-7. As for Frederick Douglass, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-6.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Ryle will take on the Eagles at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Scott is looking to tack on another W to their three-game streak on the road. As for Frederick Douglass, they will be playing at home against the Generals at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
