The Dade County Wolverines will venture away from home to challenge the Gordon Lee Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: the two teams posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.
Dade County took a loss when they played away from home last Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Friday. They never let Armuchee get on the board and left with a 34-0 victory. The Wolverines not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since August 30, 2024 (when they won 35-0).

Dade County found their leader in sophomore Win Garmany, who threw for 221 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.1 yards per attempt, and also punched in two rushing scores. A healthy portion of Garmany's aerial production (109 yards to be exact) went to H Garmany.
One reason for the win was Dade County's imposing defense, which managed to get into the backfield for three sacks. Kai Clark was especially locked on to Armuchee's QB and sacked him twice.
Meanwhile, Gordon Lee humbled Chattooga with a 48-21 victory. The Trojans pushed the score to 41-7 by the end of the third, a deficit the Indians cut but never quite recovered from.
Dade County better keep an eye on Dustin Day. He was instrumental in Gordon Lee's win, throwing for 140 yards and three TDs while completing 77.8% of his passes. That's the most passing touchdowns Day has posted since back in October of 2024.
Special teams played a big role in the game for Gordon Lee, adding 12 points to the final score. The biggest highlight from special teams (and perhaps the team as a whole) came courtesy of Landon Norton, who ran a punt back for a touchdown.
The win made it two in a row for Gordon Lee and bumps their season record up to 4-1. The victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 48.5 points over those games. As for Dade County, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-5.
Dade County ended up a good deal behind Gordon Lee in their previous matchup back in October of 2024, losing 19-0. Can the Wolverines avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
