Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Laney). They blew past the Josey Eagles 52-0 on Friday. The high-scoring effort was just what the Wildcats needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Laney pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those road wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 45.3 points over those games. As for Josey, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Laney will face off against rival Butler at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Josey is set to square off against their familiar foe Burke County at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
