The Scott Bulldogs waltzed into their match on Wednesday with two straight wins but they left with three. They enjoyed a cozy 54-40 victory over Sandusky. Scott pushed the score to 44-22 by the end of the third, a deficit the Blue Streaks cut but never quite recovered from.
Several Blue Streaks players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Cassidy Stovall, who scored 11 points along with three steals. Mae Rameau was another key contributor, scoring seven points along with five assists and five steals.
Scott is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7 record this season. As for Sandusky, they dropped their record down to 8-10 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road.
Scott will face off against the Spartans at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Sandusky, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against the Fliers at 1:30 p.m. Hopefully Clyde focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 24 on Wednesday.
