After five games on the road, Rushville-Industry is heading back home. They will take on the Quincy Notre Dame Raiders at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. Given that both teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.
Last Thursday, Rushville-Industry ended up a good deal behind Brown County and lost 49-32. While losing is never fun, Rushville-Industry can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Illinois basketball rankings (they are ranked 557th, while Brown County is ranked 122nd).
Meanwhile, Quincy Notre Dame unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell 71-64 to Bloomington Central Catholic. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their last game on Thursday (56), Quincy Notre Dame still had to take the loss.
Rushville-Industry bumped their record down to 5-18 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight on the road. As for Quincy Notre Dame, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-3.
