Make it seven blowout wins for the Parkville Knights this season. They breezed by Franklin at home to the tune of 70-40. The win was familiar territory for Parkville who now have five in a row.
Parkville's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. The team also got some help courtesy of Kyliek Howard, who scored 17 points along with five steals.
Parkville's win was their 15th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 13-3. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.8 points per game. As for Franklin, their loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 16-1.
Parkville will head out on the road to challenge Woodlawn at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Woodlawn is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak. Franklin will be staying on the road on Monday to face off against Hammond on January 29th. Hammond is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.
