Jefferson waltzed into their game on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed by the Sheridan Rams to the tune of 65-22. The Saints have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four contests by 30 points or more this season.
Leading Jefferson to victory were Meadow Mondragon and T Nutter. Mondragon went 8 for 12 on her way to 21 points in addition to eight assists and five steals, while Nutter dropped a double-double on 20 points and 11 boards. Mondragon is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Gigi Trujillo, who posted nine points and four steals.
They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Jefferson was working as a unit and finished the game with 19 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Jefferson's record is now 6-4. As for Sheridan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 2-6.
