Basketball Recap: Muckleshoot Tribal Skates Past Puget Sound Adventist with Ease

Muckleshoot Tribal won the last time they faced Puget Sound Adventist and things went their way on Thursday too. The Muckleshoot Tribal Kings breezed by the Puget Sound Adventist Sharks to the tune of 73-42. The Kings have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matchups by 22 points or more this season.

Payton Brown had a dynamite game for Muckleshoot Tribal, going 11 of 21 on his way to 27 points along with eight boards and seven assists. That's the most points Brown has posted since back in January. The team also got some help courtesy of Rylee Markantonatos, who went 7 of 12 on his way to 18 points.

Brown wasn't the only one working in the assists department: Muckleshoot Tribal was working as a unit and finished the game with 16 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.

The win made it two in a row for Muckleshoot Tribal and bumps their season record up to 4-2. As for Puget Sound Adventist, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. After both having extra time off, Muckleshoot Tribal and North Mason will shake off the cobwebs and face off against one another at 6:30 p.m. on January 3, 2025. As for Puget Sound Adventist, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Northwest Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
