Army-Navy extended the longest winning streak in Pacific this week by beating Mountain Empire, 30-16. The victory was the fifth in a row for the team.
Tri-City Christian led the league in scoring this week after putting up 36 points on Saddleback Valley Christian. Zach Hensley threw for 157 yards and one touchdown in the win.
Mike Martinez was the best wideout in the league this week as Rock Academy lost to Horizon. Martinez tallied two receptions for 34 yards. Jay Dutra helped Rock Academy's passing attack out by catching two balls for 27 yards.
Cameron Amborse was the most productive running back in Pacific this week. He ran for 90 yards on eight carries as the Warrior fell to the Panthers. Teammate Esteban Lieras added to the ground attack by rushing for 26 yards.
6-foot-2 quarterback Deandre Simpson of Rock Academy is the league leader in passing yards this season with 687. He has also thrown four touchdowns. On the ground, Maranatha Christian's Dan Duka has rushed for 467 yards which leads the league. The leading receiver in the league this season is Jack Olmstead. The Maranatha Christian star has 24 catches for 382 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Calvin Christian takes on Army-Navy. The Crusaders are currently in fourth, while Frank Henry's team is in first.
Rone Torres's team made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 14,235 from 14,306. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 69-15 victory over the Warrior last week.
