The Paraclete Spirits will head out to face off against the Saugus Centurions at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Paraclete 3, Saugus 3.9) so any runs scored will be well earned.
Paraclete proved they can win big on Saturday (they won by 18) and on Thursday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out Tehachapi 5-4. The victory continues a trend for the Spirits in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

The team relied heavily on Jessa Hettiger, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one run. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Addi Vandecar, who went 3-for-4 with two runs and one double.
They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Paraclete kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least nine hits in three consecutive matchups.
Meanwhile, Saugus earned a 5-1 win over Hart on Thursday.
Riley Nelson tossed a big game, tossing 5.1 innings while giving up just one earned run off ten hits. She has been consistent: she hasn't given up more than two walks any time she's pitched this season.
At the plate, Amelia Johnson was incredible, going 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and one double. Juliana Beadnell also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.
Paraclete's record now sits at 13-2. As for Saugus, their record is now 10-5.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Saturday. Paraclete hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 1.2 home runs per game. However, it's not like Saugus struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.5 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.
Paraclete beat Saugus 6-2 in their previous matchup back in February. Do the Spirits have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Centurions turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
