The biggest upset of the week belonged to Bonner Springs, who took down 100th ranked Bonner Springs, 35-11. Drew Potter ran for 202 yards and caught one passes for 14 yards in the win.
Mill Valley extended the longest winning streak in Kaw Valley this week by beating Piper, 56-18. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
SKYLER WINDMILLER put up the best numbers through the air as Mill Valley bested the Pirates. He finished with 13 completions for 226 yards and four touchdowns. WINDMILLER's favorite target this week was STATON REBECK, who caught four passes for 77 yards.
Khalil Bailey was the best wideout in the league this week as Lansing beat Bishop Ward. Bailey tallied four receptions for 134 yards. Christian Porter helped Lansing's passing attack out by catching one ball for 19 yards.
PAUL BERRY provided a threat through the air and on the ground as Turner topped Tonganoxie. He completed 24 passes for 228 yards and two touchdowns and also ran for 76 yards. BERRY's favorite target this week was SIRR GREEN, who caught 10 passes for 129 yards.
Porter made the biggest impact on defense this week as the Lions defeated the Cyclones. The 5-foot-11 junior pulled down one interception and grabbed 1.0 sack.
Joel Applebee's team's WINDMILLER and L.J. HATCH have formed a dynamic duo this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. WINDMILLER has thrown for 1343 yards this season, while HATCH, a 6-foot-0 receiver, has 22 catches for 485 yards. Potter from Basehor-Linwood leads the league in rushing with 767 yards.
The Jaguars led Kaw Valley in scoring this week after putting up 56 points on Piper. WINDMILLER ran for 63 yards in the win.
