If the MaxPreps national rankings hold true, the near future looks bright for St. Paul. On Friday they take on Waldport at 7:00 PM. St. Paul are cruising in on a five-game winning streak while Waldport are stumbling in off of three consecutive losses.
After a disappointing 2 points in their last game, St. Paul made sure to put some points up on the board against Mohawk last Friday. St. Paul were fully in charge, breezing past Mohawk 59-8. Followers of St. Paul probably expected little less of the squad in a season in which they have collected four blowout victories.
Meanwhile, Waldport have to be hurting after a devastating 30-60 loss at the hands of Siletz Valley.
St. Paul's win lifted them to 5-0 while Waldport's defeat dropped them down to 1-4. We'll see if St. Paul's success rolls on or if Waldport are able to steal their positive momentum.
