Clovis lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Roswell, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Tuesday's matchup. The Wildcats were the clear victors by an 11-1 margin over the Coyotes on Tuesday. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight games by eight runs or more this season.

The victory made it two in a row for Clovis and bumps their season record up to 13-12. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered a grand total of 3 runs in those games. As for Roswell, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 10-14.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Coyotes beat Clovis by a score of 2-1 on Wednesday.
