The Hammond Bishop Noll Warriors just played last night, but they'll still head out to face the Homestead Spartans at 1:00 p.m. on December 28th. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
On Wednesday, Hammond Bishop Noll took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 58-19 victory over Thornwood. Given Hammond Bishop Noll's advantage in MaxPreps's basketball rankings in their respective home states (they are ranked 233rd in Indiana, while Thornwood is ranked 482nd in Illinois), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Hammond Bishop Noll's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Adrian Mcgee led the charge by scoring 19 points along with six rebounds. Mcgee is on a roll when it comes to steals, as she's now grabbed two or more in the last six games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Quinn Fehr, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.
Meanwhile, Homestead entered their tilt with Angola with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. Homestead blew past Angola, posting a 72-24 victory on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Homestead has managed all season.
