The Genesee Bulldogs's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their fifth straight loss. They suffered a rough 69-49 defeat at the hands of Troy. Genesee has not had much luck with Troy recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Despite the loss, Genesee still got an impressive performance from Teak Wareham, who scored 18 points along with five assists and five rebounds. Wareham continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Seth Vestal, who scored 13 points.
Genesee bumped their record down to 1-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight on the road. As for Troy, their victory ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 4-6.
Genesee will take on Lapwai at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Lapwai is coming into the matchup hot, having won their last six games. As for Troy, they will head out on the road to take on Logos at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday.
