The Fairview Knights waltzed into Wednesday's game with two straight wins but they left with three. They really took it to Prairie View for the full four quarters, racking up a 72-36 victory at home. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Fairview also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Owen Foster continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 21 points along with 6 assists and 3 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which he has scored at least 25% of Fairview's points. Spencer Brown was another key contributor, scoring 20 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.
Despite the loss, Prairie View still got an impressive performance from Javon Brewton, who scored 16 points along with 3 steals. The contest was Brewton's third in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Randall Rogos, who scored 8 points along with 7 rebounds.
Prairie View struggled to work together and finished the game with only four assists. They were crushed by their opponents in that department as Fairview racked up 17.
Fairview's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Prairie View, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
Fairview will stay at home for another game and welcome Denver East at 8:00 p.m. on December 8th. One thing working in Denver East's favor is that they have posted big point totals in their last three contests. Prairie View is on the road again on Friday and play against Boulder at 6:30 p.m. on December 8th. Hopefully Boulder focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Wednesday.
