The Central Dragons put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Richland 43-15 at home. The result was nothing new for Central, who have now won six matches by 21 points or more so far this season.
Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Hunter Smith out in front who rushed for 78 yards and three touchdowns on only 11 carries. Another player making a difference was Jack Dunn, who picked up 122 receiving yards and two touchdowns.
Although Richland took the loss, they still got scores from Arnold Mugerwa and Brayden Knepper.
Central's win was their tenth straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. They've been dominating during the matches in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 25.5 points. As for Richland, their loss ended a nine-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 9-1.
Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Richland will be playing at home against Penns Valley Area at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
