Litmer Came Up Big in Highlands' 55-0 Win
Starting off the list is Highlands's Rio Litmer, who we judged to be the best player in the league this week. Litmer threw for 134 yards and four touchdowns on perfect 7-for-7 passing, and also punched in a touchdown on the ground. He has been hot recently, having posted three or more passing touchdowns the last three times he's played.
On the season, Litmer has thrown 15 touchdowns while averaging 161.8 passing yards per game. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 58 passing yards per game.

Cooper Wins Eighth-Straight Thanks to Keagan Maher
Cooper picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Keagan Maher. Maher was dynamite, rushing for 101 yards and two touchdowns on only six carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 51 yards.
Maher must have Scott's number; he was a force to be reckoned with the last time he faced them too. When Maher last faced the Eagles back in October of 2023, he rushed for 67 yards and three touchdowns on only five carries.

Mason Stanton Crosses Big Stat Threshold
Cooper picked up their eighth consecutive win on Friday thanks in part to Mason Stanton. Stanton showed up in a big way, picking up two sacks and making seven total tackles. Thanks to that strong showing, he's now averaging 5.1 total tackles per game. We rated that as his best effort of the season, edging out his previous best set two weeks ago.
For the season, Stanton has averaged 5.1 total tackles per game and for the season has those 2 sacks. He's made a big improvement compared to last season: at this point last year, he had one sack.

Isaiah Johnson Goes Supernova in Cooper Victory
Isaiah Johnson was instrumental in extending Cooper's winning streak to eight on Friday. Johnson did his part (and then some), picking up 86 receiving yards and two touchdowns for the 'W'.
If history really does repeat itself, Johnson might just drop another big game when he faces off against Boone County on Friday. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Johnson saw the Rebels), he picked up 181 receiving yards and three touchdowns.

A Season-Best Performance from T.J. Hicks Leads Highlands over Boone County
Highlands was led to victory by T.J. Hicks, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Hicks picked up a sack, forced a fumble, and made seven total tackles (2.0 for loss).
On the season, Hicks has averaged 7.2 total tackles per game and for the season has those 1 sack. He is looking even better than he did last year: after eight games last season, he was only averaging 0.88 total tackles per game.
