Forrest came tearing into Friday's match with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Northwest Vikings 6-4. While the Rockets didn't have the best season last year (they finished 6-9), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.

Forrest's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-6. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 9.3 runs over those games. As for Northwest, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-10.
