Volleyball Recap: Tuesday's Victory Is Seymour's Seventh in Last Eight Outings

If Carter wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Seymour, they should've done a better job of containing Isabella Hylan. The Eagles blew past the Green Hornets 3-0 on Tuesday thanks in part to Hylan, who had 11 digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted 11 or more digs the last three times she's played.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-18, 25-14.

Seymour's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Makenzie Warner, who had 13 assists and three digs.

Seymour was lethal from the service line and finished the game with 11 aces. They are 5-1 when they serve at least ten aces.

Seymour is on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-8 record this season. As for Carter, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

Seymour wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 win against Fulton on the 18th. As for Carter, they have also already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Northview Academy on the 18th.
