Savannah Country Day won the last time they faced Savannah, and Boots Buckler did her part to make sure it happened again. The Hornets came out on top against the Bluejackets by a score of 2-0 on Wednesday for which the team can thank Buckler, who had 11 aces and two assists. She is on a roll when it comes to aces, as she's now served two or more in each of the last four games she's played.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Savannah Country Day took both sets by at least 19 points. The match finished with set scores of 25-6, 25-5.

Savannah Country Day now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Savannah, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

Coincidentally, Savannah Country Day and Savannah will both be playing St. Vincent's the next time they take the court. The Bluejackets will head out to face the Saints at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday, while the Hornets will play them later in the day, at 7:00 p.m.
