Lawrence took a hard 67-53 fall against White Pigeon. Lawrence has struggled against White Pigeon recently, as their contest on Friday was their third consecutive lost matchup.
Despite the loss, Lawrence still got an impressive performance from Ben McCaw, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. McCaw continues to roll, besting his previous point total in each of the last three games he's played. Zander Payment was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with two steals.
Lawrence's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for White Pigeon, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-5.
Lawrence will be playing in front of their home fans against Centreville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Centreville is coming into the match with seven straight victories on the road, so Lawrence is out to stop a squad with plenty of momentum. As for White Pigeon, they will face off against Hartford at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Hartford and White Pigeon are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
