Oak Grove Lutheran was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after losing to Finley-Sharon/Hope-Page. The Grovers came in at 25 in the state poll after placing at number 26 last week.
Strasburg/Zeeland added to the longest winning streak in 9-Man Region 1 (9 Man) this week by beating Sargent Central, 14-12. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Richland's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Colts feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Matthew Workin has thrown for 371 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Travis Myers has 15 catches for 160 yards.
The marquee game in the league this week will be the clash between Hankinson and Strasburg/Zeeland. The Pirates enters the contest ranked 19th in the state, while the Clippers ranks eighth.
Strasburg/Zeeland made the biggest jump in the national rankings this week, rising to 432 from 492. They were able to move up in the ranks after a 14-12 victory over the Cadets last week.
