Killdeer/Halliday added to the longest winning streak in A Region 4 this week by beating Southern McLean [Washburn/Wilton/Wing], 47-8. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] was the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from fifth to third in the league. Earlier in the week, the Cougars triumphed over Garrison/Max 34-33.
Central McLean [Turtle Lake-Mercer/Underwood/McClusky]'s offense cannot be tamed this season and the Cougars feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Hunter Jacobs has thrown for 198 yards and 2 touchdowns this season, while Tanner Freeman has 7 catches for 104 yards.
A big matchup in the league this week will be when Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] takes on Hazen. Dave Hendrickson's team is in third place, while the Bison are in second place.
The Cardinals made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 13,592 from 13,775. The improvement was the result of 47-8 victory over Southern McLean [Washburn/Wilton/Wing] last week.
