The Southeast Alamance Stallions will face off against the Seaforth Hawks at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Southeast Alamance took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Wednesday. They were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over Northwood. The Stallions haven't had any issues with the Chargers recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.
Tatum Shelton made a splash while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk). Shelton was also big at the plate, going 1-for-3 with three RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024.

In other batting news, Katie Lloyd was a standout: she scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-3. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last 13 games she's played. Addison Reich was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing a base while going 3-for-4.
Southeast Alamance hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Northwood struck out eight times.
Meanwhile, Seaforth never let their opponents score back in March. Everything went their way against Bartlett Yancey as they made off with a 17-0 victory.
Like Southeast Alamance, Seaforth also got a great game from a two-way player: Emma Grace Hill. On the mound, she struck out six batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits (and not a single walk). Hill was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run.
In other batting news, Seaforth got a massive performance out of Blair Hill, who scored two runs and stole two bases while getting on base in all three of her plate appearances. Another player making a difference was Cami Brinkley, who scored a run and stole a base while going 3-for-3.
Southeast Alamance's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 7-8. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.3 runs over those games. As for Seaforth, they now have a winning record of 6-5.
Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Southeast Alamance hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.5 home runs per game. However, it's not like Seaforth struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 0.6 home runs.
