Tampa Bay Tech's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Azjannie Culberth led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 11 rebounds. Culberth is absolutely dominating the steal category: she's posted at least two every time she's taken the court this season. Breanna Hartley was another key contributor, dropping a double-double on 21 points and 11 rebounds.
Tampa Bay Tech's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Blake, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-13.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tampa Bay Tech won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Durant at 8:00 p.m. on January 30th. Durant is coming into the game hot, having won their last three games. As for Blake, they will look to defend their home court on Thursday against East Bay at 8:00 p.m.
