The Bulls College Prep Bulls suffered their biggest loss yet this season on Thursday. They were dealt a 65-22 loss at the hands of Johnson. Bulls College Prep was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 35-10.
Johnson was led to victory by Le'Andra Hill and Destiny Taylor. Hill dropped a double-double on 26 points and ten rebounds, while Taylor dropped a double-double on 23 points and 12 rebounds. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Taylor has scored at least a third of Johnson's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Kaylynn Arnold, who scored five points along with six rebounds and two steals.
Bulls College Prep bumped their record down to 7-5 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 24.3 points per game. As for Johnson, the win got them back to even at 10-10.
Bulls College Prep will head out on the road to face off against Intrinsic at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Johnson, they will be playing at home against Perspectives-IIT/Joslin at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
