Basketball Recap: Logos Piles Up the Points Against Kendrick

There's no place like home for Logos, who bounced back after a loss on the road last Monday. They really took it to the Kendrick Tigers for the full four quarters, racking up an 83-55 win. The Knights have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 24 points or more this season.

Seamus Wilson was his usual excellent self, going 15 of 23 on his way to 40 points in addition to seven steals and six assists. His evening made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Baxter Covington, who posted seven points.

They weren't the only one working in the assists department: Logos was working as a unit and finished the game with 13 assists. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their assist total in three consecutive games.

Logos is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 9-6 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 73.3 points per game. As for Kendrick, their defeat ended a five-game streak of away wins dating back to last season and brought them to 7-6.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Logos will square off against Lapwai at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Logos' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four matchups. As for Kendrick, they will challenge Kamiah at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. Kamiah will roll in looking for their 13th straight victory, something Kendrick surely won't give up without a fight.
