Porter Williams Delivers Best Performance of Season
Hagerty came up short on Friday despite Porter Williams delivering his best game to date. Williams rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on only ten carries, and also picked up 87 receiving yards and a touchdown. The bulk of those receiving yards came from one huge play: a catch that gained an incredible 82 yards.
This is the second loss in a row for Hagerty and nudges their season record down to 4-3. Williams and Hagerty will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Lake Brantley at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

On Friday, Lake Mary got the W thanks in part to Noah Grubbs playing the best football he has all season. Grubbs threw for 271 yards and three touchdowns while completing 86.7% of his passes, and also punched in a rushing score.
Unfortunately for North Miami Beach, this isn't the first big game they've seen from Grubbs. Back in October of 2023 (the last time Grubbs saw the Chargers), he threw for 325 yards and five touchdowns while picking up 10.8 yards per attempt, and also punched in two touchdowns on the ground.

A Season-Best Performance from Khamani Robinson Leads Seminole over Titusville
Seminole was led to victory by Khamani Robinson, who turned in his biggest game of the season on Friday. Robinson rushed for 140 yards and two touchdowns on only 11 carries.
The victory for Seminole keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. Robinson and Seminole will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Lake Mary at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Lake Brantley came up short on Friday despite Michael "M.J." Mitchell delivering his best game to date. Mitchell made eight total tackles and defended two passes.
Lake Brantley has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-5 record this season. Mitchell and Lake Brantley will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hagerty at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.

Sadly, Matthew Krause posting his best game of the season wasn't enough to lead Lake Brantley over Tohopekaliga on Friday. Krause rushed for 84 yards and two touchdowns, and also picked up 121 receiving yards.
