Lane Tech dropped their record down to 11-7 on Saturday, which also ended the team's eight-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the St. Rita Mustangs by a score of 7-6. The Champions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.
Tyler Trapp and Teo Greco stepped up to the plate in a big way. Trapp went 2-for-3 with two RBI and one run, while Greco went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
