Manteno had already won two in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 9.5 runs) and they went ahead and made it three on Monday. They put the hurt on the Lisle Lions with a sharp 14-4 win. Considering the Panthers have won seven matches by more than six runs this season, Monday's blowout was nothing new.

Manteno got a massive performance out of Andrew Norred, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases, two runs, and two RBI. That's the most stolen bases Norred has posted since back in March. Quinn Borden also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.

Manteno's record is now 11-4. As for Lisle, they are on an 11-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-13-1.

Manteno will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Lions: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
