The Wake Prep Academy Guardians came into Friday's contest having lost three straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They managed a 46-40 win over Woods Charter on Friday. The victory was just what Wake Prep Academy needed coming off of a 64-23 loss in their prior contest.
Chelsea Lange had an outrageously good game as she scored 24 points. It was the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Olivia Langton was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Wake Prep Academy's win bumped their record up to 5-12. As for Woods Charter, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 games, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-13 record this season.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Wake Prep Academy will take on the Warriors at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Oak Forest will be looking to extend their current four-game winning streak. As for Woods Charter, they will be playing at home against the Aviators at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
