Columbine (Littleton, Colo.) had a comfortable lead entering the fourth quarter, but used 13 fourth quarter points to seal the 38-15 victory over
Chatfield (Littleton, Colo.).
The Rebels were up 13-0 at the half after taking the lead on a touchdown run by
Jeremy Aparicio in the first quarter.
Columbine saw its 13-point halftime lead fall to five entering the fourth.
The loss snapped the Chargers' 4-game winning streak.

Tim Banning played well. The senior ran for one touchdown.
Michael Burns was the top performer for the Rebels. He threw one touchdown and ran for two touchdowns. He has now scored six touchdowns on the season.
The Chargers came in giving up 15.6 points per game this season. Chatfield struggled against Columbine's offense, which entered the game scoring 30.0 points per game. The Rebels entered the contest giving up 19.2 points per game this year. Columbine held firm on the defensive front, and kept the Chargers well below the 24.2 points it had been averaging per game.
Last season's game between the teams resulted in a 34-7 win for the Rebels.
The loss comes after Chatfield defeated Lakewood 29-6 last week. With the win Columbine extended its winning streak to four games.
Chatfield (4-2) goes up against Bear Creek in a 5A Super 6 game matchup next week, while Columbine (5-1) locks horns with Mullen also in a 5A Super 6 game.
