The Riverdale Rebels's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Tuesday after their third straight loss. The game between Riverdale and Salmen wasn't particularly close, with Riverdale falling 74-60. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Riverdale's lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Roland Bullard, who scored 21 points along with 9 rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Byron Perrilliat, who scored 9 points along with 6 rebounds and 3 blocks.
Riverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 1-5. As for Salmen, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Riverdale will challenge St. Martin's Episcopal at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Martin's Episcopal will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive. As for Salmen, they will head out on the road to face off against Metairie Park Country Day at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
