The Baker Gators will play host again and welcome the Destin Sharks, where tip off is scheduled for 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.
Baker suffered their biggest defeat since November 27, 2023 on Friday. They suffered a rough 50-30 loss at the hands of Walton.
Meanwhile, Destin's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Monday after their ninth straight loss. They were dealt a 50-20 defeat at the hands of Freeport. While losing is never fun, Destin can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 564th, while Freeport is ranked 261st).
Baker's defeat dropped their record down to 5-7. As for Destin, their loss was their seventh straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 2-10.
