In what's become a running theme this season, the Windsor Wizards gave their fans yet another huge win on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Greeley Central 75-41 on the road. With Windsor ahead 45-19 at the half, the contest was all but over already.
Windsor's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Johnnie Reed, who dropped a double-double on ten points and 11 rebounds. Reed is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed two or more in the last five games he's played. Tadese Keyworth was another key contributor, scoring 18 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Several Wildcats players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Reid Arlo richardson, who scored 22 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Arlo richardson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Abdirahman Dahir, who scored eight points along with seven rebounds and two blocks.
Windsor is on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matches, which provided a nice bump to their 8-4 record this season. As for Greeley Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-7.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Windsor will take on Silver Creek at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Both teams are coming into the match red-hot, with Silver Creek sitting on five straight wins and Windsor on three. As for Greeley Central, they will be playing at home against Greeley West at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Hopefully Greeley West focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 32 on Friday.
