The Northwest Christian Wolverines's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Wednesday after their third straight loss. They lost to Concordia Christian Academy at home by a decisive 57-39 margin. Northwest Christian was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Concordia Christian Academy apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2023.
Despite the loss, Northwest Christian had strong showings from Dan Babber, who scored 16 points, and Jadon Dillingham, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Northwest Christian has been struggling recently, as they've lost four of their last five games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-7 record this season. As for Concordia Christian Academy, their win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-8.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Northwest Christian will face off against Clallam Bay at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday. Concordia Christian Academy on the road again on Friday and play against Evergreen Lutheran at 7:30 p.m. on January 26th. Evergreen Lutheran will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak alive.
