Southeastern RVT has gone a perfect 10-0 against Blue Hills RVT recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Wednesday. The Hawks are taking a road trip to square off against the Warriors at 3:30 p.m. Southeastern RVT will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
Southeastern RVT is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Massachusetts' top teams: Bristol-Plymouth RVT, who was ranked 15th at the time (Southeastern RVT was ranked 23rd). The Hawks narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Craftsmen 3-1. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hawks have posted since April 11, 2024.

Becca Hornung was a major factor while hitting and pitching. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 13 over seven innings pitched. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than seven strikeouts any time she's pitched this season. She was also big at the plate, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three RBI and one double.
Hornung wasn't the only one making solid contact as three players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Camryn Precourt, who went 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base. Lia Hayes also deserves some recognition as she hit her first triple of the season.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Blue Hills RVT). They put the hurt on Bristol County Agricultural with a sharp 27-6 victory on Tuesday. Considering the Warriors have won four matches by more than 14 runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.
Like Southeastern RVT, Blue Hills RVT also got a great game from a two-way player: Molly Pazyra. She tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. Pazyra was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all five of her plate appearances with five runs, three RBI, and one stolen base.
In other batting news, Caitlin Beaucage was a standout: she got on base in all five of her plate appearances with three stolen bases, three runs, and three RBI. Adrianna Baker was another key player, getting on base in three of her five plate appearances with three runs, one triple, and one stolen base.
Blue Hills RVT always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .804. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Southeastern RVT's win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 5-2. The home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.3 runs on average over those games. As for Blue Hills RVT, their win ended a five-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 5-2.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Wednesday as neither team is afraid to steal. Southeastern RVT has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 4.1 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Blue Hills RVT struggles in that department as they've been averaging 7.1 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
Southeastern RVT took their victory against Blue Hills RVT in their previous meeting back in May of 2024 by a conclusive 25-8 score. Will the Hawks repeat their success, or do the Warriors have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
