The Reagan Rattlers lost against the Churchill Chargers back in January, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The matchup between Reagan and Churchill wasn't particularly close, with Reagan falling 59-40. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Reagan in their matchups with Churchill: they've now lost four in a row.
Reagan's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Sahara Green, who scored 11 points along with five rebounds, and Renata Parga who scored 11 points along with six rebounds. Bri Glosson was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
It was another big night for Rakiya Nelson, who dropped a double-double on 30 points and 14 rebounds for Churchill. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Nelson has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Daphne Zuniga, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds.
Reagan has not been sharp recently as the team's lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 19-17 record this season. As for Churchill, they pushed their record up to 26-10 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Reagan does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Churchill also has no future games currently scheduled.
