Thornton Academy extended their postseason success on Wednesday against Scarborough. They came out on top against the Red Storm by a score of  3-1. This was a revenge game for the Trojans: when they faced off against the Red Storm  last Monday, they had to take a  3-2  loss.
 Thornton Academy walked away with the   victory (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-20, 21-25, 25-10,  25-22.
 Adelaide Bracy paced Thornton Academy's offense, picking up 13 kills. Bracy got some help from  Addison Petit and her 33 assists. Bracy was also solid from the service line:  she led the team with four aces.
Thornton Academy is  on a roll lately: they've  won four of their last five matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record  this season. As for Scarborough, they moved to 14-2 with that  defeat, which also ended their 11-match winning streak.
 Coming up, Thornton Academy will square off against Gorham at 5:30  p.m.  on Saturday. Scarborough does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
