The Georgetown G-Men scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They came out on top against New Richmond by a score of 69-56. The win was just what Georgetown needed coming off of a 55-34 loss in their prior contest.
New Richmond's loss came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Grant Hess, who scored 16 points. Another player making a difference was Cohen Manning, who scored seven points along with five steals.
Georgetown's win bumped their record up to 5-6. As for New Richmond, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-6.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Georgetown will take on Felicity-Franklin at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Felicity-Franklin focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 12 on Tuesday. As for New Richmond, they have the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Wilmington at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
