The Richwood Rams entered their tilt with the Delhi Bears with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Richwood blew past Delhi 90-65. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Several Bears players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jimmy Spruill, who dropped a double-double on 10 points and 10 rebounds. Carvon Percy was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 5 assists.
Richwood's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for Delhi, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.
Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Richwood will face off against Ouachita Parish at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. One thing working in Ouachita Parish's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Delhi, they will head out on the road to face off against Mangham at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
