The Lake Fenton Blue Devils stacked an eighth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They claimed a resounding 70-30 win over Corunna at home. The win was familiar territory for Lake Fenton who now have four in a row.
Lake Fenton had a senior duo take command as Emerson Baker scored 23 points along with seven assists and five steals and Savannah "sj" fellenbaum dropped a double-double on 18 points and ten rebounds. Baker continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Anna Prevost was another key contributor, scoring nine points along with seven assists and five rebounds.
Lake Fenton has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-4 record this season. As for Corunna, their defeat was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.
Lake Fenton will face off against the Mustangs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Clio focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 29 on Friday. As for Corunna, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against the Martians at 7:00 p.m. Goodrich is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
