The Riverside Frontiers will be home for the holidays to greet the Olmsted Owls at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both teams will really light up the scoreboard.
Last Friday, even if it wasn't a dominant performance, Riverside beat Math Science Tech Prep at Seneca 61-55. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Riverside.
Riverside's victory was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Jaheim Foster, who scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for him. Landon Jaeckle was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Meanwhile, Olmsted came up short against The Park School of Buffalo last Friday and fell 73-64.
Riverside's victory ended a four-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Olmsted, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
Riverside came up short against Olmsted in their previous meeting back in February, falling 53-43. Can Riverside avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
