It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but the Tupelo Golden Wave had no problem doing just that on Tuesday. They never let the Patriots onto the board and left with a 4-0 victory. Tupelo might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matchups by three goals or more this season.
Tupelo is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches, which provided a nice bump to their 12-7-1 record this season. As for Lewisburg, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 14-4-3.
Tupelo didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 defeat vs. Madison Central on the 10th. Lewisburg does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
